Man of Steel is still shooting in Vancouver today, working towards a June 14, 2013 release date. Two new photos were taken outside the set, which show Henry Cavill displaying his scruffy shirtless look, while working in front of a green screen. Man of Steel comes to theaters June 14th, 2013 and stars Russell Crowe, Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Kevin Costner, Diane Lane, Michael Shannon, Laurence Fishburne, Christopher Meloni. The film is directed by Zack Snyder.

    @josh I too liked superman returns I have the DVD I'm just saying for many people it was a let down. however. I think it was a big let down to them because they built it up so much before it hit the big screen. Just like what they did with green lantern. I seen how much hype that movie was getting just like this new superman movie and we seen how green lateen turned out. So that's why I say don't put too much stock or hype in this superman movie.

    This movie is definitely looking AWESOME from the lil tidbits they are releasing and I definitely agree with Henry casted as Supes/CK, but let's reserve judgement until the film is complete. We all seen what happened with every other DC film/TV show that wasn't a Chris Nolan-related Batman (Batman & Robin, Green Lantern, Wonder Woman, etc)

    @josh: I gotta agree with @arthur gardner. "Superman Returns" was an super letdown in my book. Great SFX, especially ANY scene with him flying, but the story and plot didn't do it for me. My major gripe with the movie.... Supes, the supposedly All-American hero, had a child out of wedlock? Didn't him and Lois hook up in Superman 2 ONLY, two movies prior to SR?

    @arthur-gardner Superman Returns lived up to what I wanted. I'm still reserving my thoughts on this one, though. A trailer will be nice to see what tone Snyder takes with it.

    I'm not going to get to worked up about this movie and I don't think anyone else should ether. People had high hopes for superman returns and it didn't live up to what they wanted & there was very high hopes for green lantern and again didn't live up to the hype so the last thing anyone should do is get jacked up or hyped about this movie until u see the movie itself.
