Mira Sorvino will star opposite Joaquin Phoenix and Mark Ruffalo in Reservation Road, a drama Terry George is directing for Focus Features, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

In the film, two families collide when the father of one kills the son of the other in a hit-and-run. Phoenix and Ruffalo are the fathers, and Jennifer Connelly will be Phoenix's wife.

Sorvino will play Ruffalo's ex-wife.

The screenplay is by Burnham Schwartz, who is adapting his own book, with revisions by George.
