Love Milla, am r-e-a-l-l-y iffy on "period action" flicks(?). While he'll definitely get tweener butts in the seats - hopefully, with Bloom along, this won't get too compared to his 'Pirates' films. 'bout time Jovovich got noticed for more than zany action monster killing roles.

I don't know about this. There have been no great adaptations of this book, which is surprising. I wonder if it will stay faithful to the novel, which gets somewhat dark at the end.
