Milla Jovovich discusses Resident Evil: Retribution
Milla Jovovich made some comments about the upcoming Resident Evil: Retribution via her Twitter account. The actress confirmed Alice will be part of the project, as well as Paul W.S. Anderson, and also mentioned the film might change its title:

"RE is our baby! and there wldn't b a franchise w out paul and i workin hard 2 make those films awesome. of course alice is in! its not called"begins"lol! it"began" 10 yrs ago! lol! i think its called RE: Retribution, but i have to ask paul 2 b sure."


Milla Jovovich also added that production might happen in Japan:

"I pray 4 japan everyday and i can't wait 2 go there and shoot the nxt RE!"


Milla Jovovich then added a little more insight into Paul W.S. Anderson's process:

"jst 2 let the RE fans know, cause there's been a bunch of questions abt the nxt film, paul has kids that are proffessional players...all they do is play the games till they master every level and unlock every code. they play the games for WEEKS and give paul the footage. so he's literally watching days of the most awesome RE players out there to get inspiration 4 the nxt installment of the franchise."


Resident Evil: Retribution comes to theaters September 14th, 2012 and stars Milla Jovovich, Sienna Guillory, Boris Kodjoe, Colin Salmon, Michelle Rodriguez, Shawn Roberts, Oded Fehr, Kevin Durand. The film is directed by Paul W.S. Anderson.

    I agree JENSEN ACKLES should be Leon but instead of Milla, Jensen should be in the spot light.
    I wish this franchise was a bit more faithful to the games, at least with the characters.

    CAN WE PLEASE HAVE JENSEN ACKLES PLAYING LEON KENNEDY IN THE NEXT ONE LIKE WE'VE BEEN TOLD ABOUT BEFORE?! He's the ONLY actor I can see playing that part.

    As much as i love the RE films id like to see other characters side of the story, instead of Alice all the time. Id love to see Ada and Leon get together or something from the Ashford family. There are so many great characters to choose from, and bring in more of the viruses, the g-virus, uroboros, veronica virus, progatoist las plagus, the control Plagus. x

    @lunedor Wesker doesnt die, lol, he cant die. and never will. if u didnt noticed at the end of part4, he escapes the plane in a parasuit. in the background. you can clearly see him when the blk guy is coming out of the tunnel..

    i knew its not "begins" haha. i like how they're preparing for the movie, especially since Paul really is asking the fans for their help. i hope its the last one. not because i hate it, i enjoyed the series because its fun to watch, but because every franchise must come to an end....then gets remade. haha. hopefully Leon is in this! can't wait!
