Mike Myers voicing Pepe Le Pew in new live-action/CGI movie
The character was created in 1945 - a skunk perpetually looking for love in pursuit of a cat dubbed Penelope Pussycat, a black cat with a white stripe accidentally painted down her back - appearing in a variety of short films for Warner Bros., including the Chuck Jones short For Scent-Imental Reasons, which won the 1949 Oscar for Best Animated Short. It was said that the studio is looking to relaunch several of their classic animated characters such as Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig, which still bring in more than $1 billion annually in licensing revenue.
Little was known about the story for this new project, although it was said that the Pepe Le Pew and Penelope Pussycat characters would be CGI, while the rest of the movie will be shot in live-action.

Side bar: Space Jam was the sh*t. Watched it a couple of months ago on Starz. Even though ait's really bad, you can't help but smile. Back in Action was good too.

Drifter49, meh I'm on a fence about what really didn't work for that movie, the idea was...alright for it's time, the adding of new characters (Lola Bunny) was unnecessary however and Michael Jordan kinda ruined it with his corny ass lines but I wouldn't call it a travesty necessarily.

Man don't f*ck up with Pepe! Looney Tunes is the one spot you should never stray from the classic style. The Wiley E Coyote and Roadrunner shorts are decent enough but they still don't fully carry the nostalgic theme that was created in their era of being prime cartoons of the decades. While I'm curious to see what the possible draw ups with digital technology would be but at the same time definitely not wanting Mike Meyers to voice him.
