Penned by Judge and Ethan Cohen, the film centers on Joe Bowers (Wilson), an average American who is selected for a top-secret hibernation program that finds him waking up and living among a society 10 centuries in the future. He finds that civilization is so dumbed-down that he is the most intelligent person alive. The film also co-stars "Saturday Night Live's Maya Rudplph.
The film does not have a title despite briefly being called "3001" a few months ago. According to Judge
"It's a long story why, but it's the studio's fault. I really wish I had a title."
Despite not having a name they do have a release date set for August 5th, 2005.Judge also said that
"King of the Hill isn't going to be around much longer,"
but he and "The Animation Show" co-producer Don Hertzfeldt are talking to HBO about possibly bringing a weekly version of "The Animation Show" to that cable station.Dont't forget to also check out: The Party Animal
