It seems Mickey Rourke just can't stay out of the news today. After it was reported earlier today that Rourke officially signed on to Iron Man 2, The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Rourke has signed on to the dramatic film, Passion Plays.

While the film's plotline wasn't revealed, the film will be written and directed by Mitch Glazer (writer of Scrooged and The Recruit) and the production is currently recruiting a female lead to star alongside Rourke.

While no production schedule was released for the film, the site is also reporting that Rourke's reps confirmed the Iron Man 2 deal for Rourke was indeed made and official.
