Mickey Rourke joins Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and Motor City
Mickey Rourke is in talks to star in Dimension Films' Sin City: A Dame to Kill For and Warner Bros.' Motor City.

This news confirms a report from April, where director Robert Rodriguez revealed that Mickey Rourke and Rosario Dawson are coming back for the sequel. We also reported in May that Jessica Alba will be back as well, with Dimension Films handing out an October 4, 2013 release date. Production is scheduled to begin in the very near future, now that Robert Rodriguez has wrapped on Machete Kills.

Motor City stars Gerard Butler as an ex-convict who seeks revenge against the man who set him up, and stole his woman. No character details were given for Mickey Rourke's role. Amber Heard and Gary Oldman are also attached to star. Albert Hughes is directing from a script by Chad St. John, that was featured on the 2009 Black List. It isn't known when production will begin.

Sin City: A Dame to Kill For comes to theaters October 4th, 2013 and stars Jamie Chung, Jessica Alba, Alexa Vega, Mickey Rourke, Rosario Dawson, Jaime King, Michael Madsen, Dennis Haysbert. The film is directed by Frank Miller, Robert Rodriguez.

Motor City was released in 2012 and stars Gerard Butler, Amber Heard, Mickey Rourke, Adrien Brody. The film is directed by Albert Hughes.
