Michelle Rodriguez signs on for The Fast and the Furious 6 and Machete Kills
The actress made a cameo appearance as Letty during the end-credit scene in Fast Five, and she returns as a main cast member in this new installment. Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, and Dwayne Johnson are also confirmed for this sequel. We also reported last week that Haywire star Gina Carano is in talks to join the cast.
She will also reprise her role as Luz from 2010's Machete in director Robert Rodriguez's sequel. Danny Trejo is back as the title character, and we reported last week that Mel Gibson is in talks to portray the villain.
Michelle Rodriguez will first start shooting Machete Kills later this month in Austin, Texas, and will move right to The Fast and the Furious 6, which begins production in Europe next month.
Fast & Furious 6 was released May 24th, 2013 and stars Vin Diesel, Paul Walker, Dwayne Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Sung Kang, Gal Gadot. The film is directed by Justin Lin.
Machete Kills comes to theaters September 13th, 2013 and stars Danny Trejo, Mel Gibson, Michelle Rodriguez, Jessica Alba, Amber Heard, Demián Bichir, Sofía Vergara, Charlie Sheen. The film is directed by Robert Rodriguez.

How are they bringing her back? She was killed!!!! Come on this is bullsh!t! I luv the franchise but can't wait to see how they explain this one! Lol the Rock is the best addition to this FF6 and he was great in FF5.

@jimthar Well the way they put it is that if the next installment doesn't have that person back in as the main character but show something having to do with that person whether its a picture or they're in it for like 5 seconds or 2 min, then they consider them a cameo in it.
