Michael Sheen Joins Alice in Wonderland and Unthinkable

British thespian Michael Sheen has signed on to join Samuel L. Jackson in the thriller Unthinkable and also will make an appearance in Tim Burton's re-imagining of classic children's story Alice in Wonderland.

According to Variety, Unthinkable is directed by Gregor Jordan and looks at the ethics of torture after a terrorist threatening to detonate nuclear devices in the U.S. is questioned by a black-ops interrogator and an FBI agent (Carrie-Ann Moss).

The film starts shooting this month.

The actor will also have a role in Alice in Wonderland, in which Johnny Depp is playing the Mad Hatter.

Alice in Wonderland is currently in pre-production and slated for a March 5, 2010 release.

Unthinkable was released June 15th, 2010 and stars Michael Sheen, Samuel L. Jackson, Brandon Routh, Carrie-Anne Moss, Stephen Root, Sasha Roiz, Gil Bellows, Necar Zadegan. The film is directed by Gregor Jordan.

Alice in Wonderland was released March 5th, 2010 and stars Mia Wasikowska, Johnny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Crispin Glover, Matt Lucas, Stephen Fry, Michael Sheen. The film is directed by Tim Burton.
