Michael Jackson's This Is It Takes in $2.2 Million on Tuesday
The studio said that Wednesday screenings have already surpassed the $2.2 million earned from last night, since the film opened worldwide at 9 PM PST last night. The studio didn't have an international box office figure, but said the film was doing just as well in the rest of the world.
Michael Jackson's This Is It opens in over 3,500 theaters nationwide today, and in thousands of additional theaters in international markets.
Michael Jackson's This Is It was released October 28th, 2009 and stars Michael Jackson, Alex Al, Alexandra Apjarova, Nick Bass, Michael Bearden, Irina Brecher, Daniel Celebre, Mekia Cox. The film is directed by Kenny Ortega.
