Author-filmmaker Ian Halperin ("Unmasked: The Final Years of Michael Jackson") is bringing his 88-minute documentary Gone Too Soon to the bigscreen, which is culled from 300 hours of footage shot inside Michael Jackson's camp.

According to Variety, the film is set for a theatrical run in Canada and France, via Transit Medias, on June 25 -- the first anniversary of Jackson's death.

Footage in Gone Too Soon includes video and audio of Jackson shot before his death. It also includes interviews with Jackson's personal manager, chef, spiritual adviser, hairstylist, trainer, protective agent and attorney.

According to the filmmakers, Jackson family members were not involved but are aware of the film. Family attorney Brian Oxman is among the interviewees.

Despite its depiction of the more scandalous aspects of Jackson's life, Halperin called the movie "a balanced tribute to the King of Pop."

"This is the film Michael and his fans deserve," Halperin said.

This film is better to say good things about Michael, I am sick to hear their negativity, it hurt my soul so much when I hear bad things about him, as I never have enough of Michael, I will certainly see this film. He better be good with Angel Michael. Can't anybody see that Michael is a pure, his intimate aspiration was for the universal elevation with his great great ambitious talent, his opening toward human being was his realisation in life, genious. He was a very shy man, this enormous tenderness he was hiding, he could'nt imagine that somebody could act for interest, he take good care of everyone, of the planet, It's inimaginable why some people always tried to destroy his moral. They create hell on earth. I love him so much, I think of him everyday, I listening his music. Forever yours Michael!

Ian Halperin is a filthy lying snake. All the lies he put in his Book "Unmasked." Now just another stunt he is trying to pull to get money and fame. Im so sick of people using Michael Jackson. He was a person, a brilliant human being, corrupted by lies. Ian didnt even know him. "This Is It" should be the final movie about Michael. This movie should NOT GO IN THEATERS. Ridiculous.
Michael you will be loved dearly forever by your fans. Long live the King Of Pop.

This guy Ian Halperin is a monster. He has never said one good thing about Mr. Jackson and never will. Everything he has published is negative and based on biased opinions and selective interviewing. He has cut and pasted so much footage of Mr. Jackson's interviews that the people are forced to believe bad things. People have not looked into the man himself. We should all aspire to be 1/2 the man Mr. Jackson was. So everyone out there please DO NOT see this movie. There will be no balanced tribute to the King of Pop from this man.

I love Michael since I was 11. There are still so much people who want to make money on his back..Be ashamed of yourself! Don't you broke his privacy enough? And who is this guy who 16 months ago predicted the death of Michael? I'm thinking that he must be under police surveillance, rather than making movies?

Everbody is reaping the benefits of his death. This seems only as to make more movey. Let's not milk him. Just let him rest and remember the entertainer that he was.

Pretty soon they will be releasing movies with his name on them, and have some look alike play him, like they did with Bruce Lee.
