Michael Bay to Bring Ouija to Life

A popular board-game craze will get the big-screen treatment from none other than Michael Bay. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Bay, his Platinum Dunes shingle and Hasbro are set to bring the spiritual Ouija Board game to life on the silver screen for Universal Pictures.

David Berenbaum (Elf) will write the project. Although the project's plotline is under wraps, it is said that the film will be a supernatural thriller, in which this game will play a pivotal part of the story. It is also said that the film won't be in the vein of Jumanji, with the board game coming to life. Bay is set to produce the film, but there is no indication that he will direct as well.

Hasbro's Parker Brothers line has produced the board game since 1966. No production schedule has been released.

I like this idea, yeah there has been like 50 different films on this board game done in the past but they all suck, Micheal Bay is one on my favorite director and if he can twist it up into a supernatural thriller like they say i beleave it should b good.

    nonetheless, here's my attempt:

cant wait to see the live action version of jenga.

the story of a young boy and his epic battle against the removal and restacking of wooden blocks. its a race against time, as he tries to win the girl, and save a life...his own

Seems like it would be a good supernatural flick. But Michael Bay? Hmm...
