Bay discusses some action scenes filming on the city streets of Chicago
Though Bay keeps his Transformers 3 story line close to the vest, he did reveal the Chicago footage ''is at the very end of the movie and the city is under alien attack, so it's very critical and important to the film's climax.''
The scene shot Monday between Michigan and Wabash focused on ''a number of base jumpers who are part of Josh Duhamel's unit. The heroes in this movie have very few people coming to help them this time. I like to think of it as the 'Black Hawk Down' version of 'Transformers' -- it's much more intimate in terms of what's happening.

Transformers: Dark of the Moon was released June 29th, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk, John Malkovich. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

EJK I don't pick fights with anyone! I never called anyone or their specific comment out. I just think its BS for someone to come on here with the sole purpose of bashing a film, 1. They never scene, 2. Some say they will never see, and 3. Either hate Bay or the TF movies. Let us fans and people with reasonable opinions share the floor. I think if your gonna hate or bash u should just stay out. As far as Cyn goes, your right I went off and it was a bit much. But cmon man she asked a silly question when their is like 8 or 9 comments calling for Reboots!

I know you weren't directing that at me, but I figured I throw a voice of reason out there. Cyn de Harven didn't even say anything to merit your response to her. It's cool if you like Bay and Trans. But like ejk1 said, its really not anyone's job to tell people off on their opinion. Most "haters" actually liked the first, and those same people really did not like Transfallen. RT's 20% rating is an indication of how it was generally received. I have qualms with films like Dead Man's Chest and The Mummy Returns for similar reasons. But I enjoy and own the firsts. No one was attacking your thoughts or opinions, but the manner in which you're snapping at people and being defensive where it's not warranted. You'll have a much better experience on MW by not taking things personal.

If you like the first, the second, both, or none is fine with me. But they just come on here and find random threads to start talking trash and troll. And they do it cause they know fans will say something back and you get simpletons like Drifter49 and Cyn de Harven running there mouths when I never called anyone out personally. Personally I didnt think TF2 was all that bad.Sure it was a bit drawn out and the final fight was about what thirty seconds long.But I'm willing to give this one a shot in hopes that Michael Bay will redeem himself.

You all know my opinion on this, haters need to get the f*ck off this article and go to what u do like. If ur fan of TF and Bay or one or the other that's cool. I don't go watch TF for any oscar winning performances. I go to see sh*t blown up and giant morphing robots! God, I hated those damn 'twins'. Too many freaking robots. And the main robots that had been introduced in the first film were barely in it.
Kind of reminded of what they did with the Matrix-mess. I always get a sinking feeling when they start adding too many new characters, or cast members. Usually means it's going to be a mess, and the main characters you've become invested in get left behind in the dust.

The only right thing Bay did with this series was using Peter Cullen as the voice Optimus Prime. granted Hollywood is given license to modify an established brand in order to get it into a movie. But this take on transformers is Horrible the source material never had the Autobots chasing the Decpticons it was the other way around the autobots were nearly extinct in both the Comic Books and the cartoons. And to be fair to Bay he has done a good job on "HIS" version of the Tranformers if there ever is a reboot I would hope that it sticks to the source material and is a little more dark than these two versions. I'm still puzzled at part two though it was more comedy than anything else especially the retarded twins which should have never been in the movie i wish devastator would have eaten them in the end..

I enjoyed - nay, loved the first Transformers. The 2nd one...was...enjoyable. Not quite as much as the first, but I still have it on my DVD shelf at home.
