Michael Bay Promises a Lot More Robots in Transformers 2

Michael Bay recently left the following New Years message on his personal home page:

I want to thank Nelson for running such a good site!

For the millions of viewers that logged on this year I want to thank you for the support. Transformers 2 will be coming soon. The new robots are really really unique and there are a lot of them this time.

Transformers 2 is set to open on June 26th, 2009.

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen was released June 24th, 2009 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Megan Fox, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, John Turturro, Ramon Rodriguez, Kevin Dunn, Julie White. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

    Following.

    So far, the movie is said to pick up with Scorponok finding Megatron and rejuvenating (resparking?) him with his own spark. Starscream retreats to Cybertron to gather more troops and the Autobots gear up as well.

    This is just what Bay says so far...we'll see.

    was the characters name snake or something? and if they do make it, i don't think it will turn out that good, theres nothing new with it! best we could hope for is a good action movie and nothing more.

    i'm all for a second, and def more bots with more fight scenes..

    for anyone who cares, I just read an article that the movie "Metal Gear Solid" will be made by Sony and that we should look for it to debut sometime in '09, but i'm hoping more like 2010, dont toy with two robot movies in 1 year, let transformers 2 have its year..
