Director Michael Bay has been prepping his new sequel and has shared an update with the fans. The director left a new post on his about the status of Transformers 3. Read the director's brief post below.

Hello everyone,

Busy scouting - Chicago, Detroit, and Washington D.C. for Transformers last week. Things are going well. The script is feeling very different from the other two. I ended my scout down in Miami this weekend to load my plane with 14 Florida Surgeons, specialists in various fields and flew them down to Haiti. We then returned with a planeload of a team of exhausted Miami Fire rescue. It is proving very difficult for these volunteers to get back home.

They say the news hardly gives the true scope of what really happened. They really feel about 500,000 probably died. One of the worst stories I heard from people down there - because of the huge lack of education in Haiti - when the earthquake struck - everyone ran inside buildings most likely to their graves. The state of Florida is really pulling their weight in this massive effort. Here some pics:

What a glad-handed bastard. Please give me thanks for going to Haiti. I know my movies suck, but if I blog about helping Haitians maybe the world will love me and my Nazi-like thematics.
This blog is more about helping Haiti than scouting locations for his turd installment of Robots raping robots.
U really make me sick M.Bay, and now I know I'll never do anything but download ure movies from here on out.

Lmao you guys are being funny. Rufio's comment was hilarious. As well as Illuminati's and Narzion's comments. It's actually weird to see positive comments about this. REALLY surprised. I thought I was the only person bitching when I came out of the theater, until I got on here days later, to find I wasn't the only person wondering what the f*ck was going on/with-in T2 lol. That movie is a mess, we all know that. Rufio said it best, the bar is low for T2, so T3 will be awesome. Actually, that's a pretty smart strategy if you think about it. Could you imagine if somebody like Chris Nolan had his hands on Transformers 3? How nuts would that be.

Cool title but sounds weird... I am going to fix that with a 'Revenge of the Third Installment' sub-title.

Fans of REVENGE will surely not be disappointed, Bay will get a bigger budget than NASA. those yearning for more fxs FEAR NOT, they'll be enough CGI; kids without epilepsy will be convulsing after this!

For those who enjoy cohesive stories, engaging character arcs, (if this is anything like REVENGE) it will be one of the worst of 2010!

    Oh and Kauaicr07, i have 2 points.

kudos to bay for helping and sending those doctors over to help and for returning the firemen back to miami. hopefully he will continue to lend help in this manner.

looking forward to TF3. though i agree with the majority that the usless parts need to be taken out. the human element weighs down the movie. i just want it to be about the robots and their struggles. like the cartoon was. develop THOSE characters.

Eh, one was okay and two was godawful. I hated 2. It was one of the worst annticipated films ever. I am not looking forward to 3 at all, even when a trailer comes. The trailer for 2 made it look amazing but then...well, i Saw it.

Optimus Prime "Continuously energized one needs great power to produce both good and evil but to do good one needs much more because goodness is to evil like building is to destroying the first is much more demanding than the second; good and evil are in the hands of the powerful," quotes Optimus Prime from Transformers Revenge of the Fallen 2009. 2 wins 7 nominations Teen Choice Award Summer Movie Star Female winner Megan Fox Mikaela Banes, Male winner Shia La Beouf Sam Witwicky, Transformers 2007 nominated and won 3 Oscars another 12 wins and 28 nominations. Transformers 2, 1 nominations and wins speak for themselves director Michael Bay is bringing us Transformer 3 in 2011 awesome. Michael Bay is powerfully transforming Haiti by transporting 14 Florida Surgeons returning with a team of Miami Fire Rescue Workers Michael Bay is helping to transform Haitians. the film will be done on an IMAX camera, maybe they should call James Cameron for some advice on the 3d technology because movies doing 3D and what Avatar did in 3D isnt the same thing. These horror movies are pathetic and only have a few things that stick out at you like a saw coming down or an ax being thrown, Avatar u will on the plane with Jake Sully prior to him going to Pandora.

Transformers 3 better remove the parents, the cheesy sexual innuendos, the racist comedic twins, useless robots because thats why ppl find this franchise to be a joke, focus on the robots instead of the human element. i get why the parents were involved but for the 3rd dont wanna see them unless its at the beginning and they die

there is no such thing as "mindless" entertainment. no director makes a film without some sort of message, statement or worldview that he/she is trying to communicate. b/c so many people just want to be entertained and not have to think, they begin adopting these philosophies as their own w/out thinking through them critically.
that being said... looking forward to #3. he set the bar so low w/ #2 that #3 is gonna look like an oscar contender.

I tolerated TRANSFORMERS 1, but i truly detested part 2. it's the worst big budget movie in 2009! It was like watching a junkyard orgy! The script, characters and plot was just god awful.

I'm not a fan boy of the cartoon, but i certainly enjoyed it. The transformers mythology had so much to offer for a good story. The robots in the cartoon are established characters with personalities. In this they were PETS! Instead of making them the focus characters they made them into the 'ET/BIGFOOT/GIZMO icons! I can't blame Shia Labouf, he was hired to be his 'over-animated' self. But the rest of the actors should be shot!

The tone of the film was all over the place. At times it's a cute teen romantic comedy, then it's a slapstick humor, then it's a patriotic war film! MAKE UP YOUR MIND BAY. Stop trying to cater to EVERYONE!

This crap was just pure over budgeted explosive porn! T2 is evidence that Hollywood has too much money and doesn't know what to do with it. Bay's slogan is "when in doubt, blow something up"! i truly loathed this film!

i CRINGE at what the 3rd one is going to be like!
