Mia Wasikowska and Aaron Johnson join Albert Nobbs
Aaron Johnson and Mia Wasikowska will be playing Joe and Helen, replacing actors Orlando Bloom and Amanda Seyfried, who we reported back in March were attached to the project. It seems that production delays are the reason for Orlando Bloom and Amanda Seyfried leaving the movie.
Glenn Close stars as the title character, a woman who disguises herself as a man for more than 20 years in 19th Century Ireland so she can survive on her own. Difficulties arise when she gets involved in an unusual love triangle.
The movie is based off the play The Singular Life of Albert Nobbs, which Glenn Close starred in during its off-Broadway run. Glenn Close is also producing the movie and co-wrote the screenplay adaptation with John Banville.
Production was originally set to start back in July, but now the movie will start shooting on December 13, on location in Dublin, Ireland.
Albert Nobbs was released January 27th, 2012 and stars Aaron Johnson, Mia Wasikowska, Jonathan Rhys Meyers, Brendan Gleeson, Glenn Close, Maria Doyle Kennedy, John Light, Janet McTeer. The film is directed by Rodrigo GarcĂa.

Agreed @Supes. Aaron Johnson is WAY more likeable- especially when he's playing the G.O.A.T. John Lennon.
