Mia Kirshner Signs on for The Vampire Diaries

It seems a new vampire is joining the brood over at the CW in the very near future. Entertainment Weekly's Ausiello Files is reporting that Mia Kirshner has joined the cast of The Vampire Diaries.

Kirshner will appear in the recurring role of Isobel, the wife of history teacher Alaric (Matt Davis).

It was said that she will make her debut in the January 21 episode of the show, an episode which has already been shot. An insider to the site said that "11th-hour reshoots" will take place to fit Kirshner into the show in time.

    Dont care for the show never watch it, but i fell in love with Mia Kirshner when i first saw her in The Crow : City of Angels, only good part about the movie really
