MGM Releasing Lions for Lambs November 9th
Directed by Robert Redford, the film stars Meryl Streep, Tom Cruise, Redford, Derek Luke, Michael Pena, Andrew Garfield and Peter Berg; it will compete against the Warner Bros. Pictures comedy, Fred Claus. It's based on an original screenplay from Matthew Michael Carnahan, who's also producing along with Redford, Tracy Falco and Andrew Hauptman. Lions for Lambs follows three plot lines, all converging on the themes surrounding the U.S.' war on terrorism, notes The Hollywood Reporter.
Production began late last month.
