Mena Suvari will be appearing opposite Jack Huston in the independent drama The Garden of Eden. According to The Hollywood Reporter, John Irvin will be directing the film.

The script is based on Ernest Hemingway's posthumous novel of the same name. Set in the Jazz years right before the Great Depression, the movie follows a successful American writer and his wife, to be played by Suvari, as they honeymoon through Europe.

Caterina Murino and Richard E. Grant are also starring in the film. Shooting began this week in Spain.
