Men in Black III production delayed until March 28
Last fall, screenwriter Jeff Nathanson was hired to rewrite the Men in Black III script. The sequel had just started shooting in New York City at that time, but was set for an extended hiatus over the holiday season to resolve certain story issues. Men in Black III would have come out of Hiatus this week, but it seems those screenplay issues have not been resolved quite yet.
Etan Cohen wrote the original draft of the script, which is set to take place in both present day and in 1969, with Will Smith's Agent J traveling back in time to meet a young Agent K (Josh Brolin). Tommy Lee Jones will reprise his role as the present-day Agent K.
A May 25, 2012 release date was set for Men in Black III, although, with the movie's continual delays, this release date may shift somewhat in the future.
Men in Black 3 was released May 25th, 2012 and stars Will Smith, Tommy Lee Jones, Josh Brolin, Jemaine Clement, Emma Thompson, Michael Stuhlbarg, Mike Colter, Nicole Scherzinger. The film is directed by Barry Sonnenfeld.

Barry Sonnenfeld is one of my least favorite directors but his original MIB movie is good. He was able to get fine performances out of his actors but lets face it, Tommy Lee Jones is always good. Anyway, i want to see this but my expectations are low. MIB II was mediocre at best.

Either way, this film better be a lot longer than the last one was. Despite the fact that I just bought it, and still haven't done my re-watch, I clearly remember I was disappointed by how short it was.

Guys, it could go both ways. It could mean they're re-writing cause they want it to be good, but it could also mean that the continual rewrites are a bad sign because the writers keep getting it wrong and therefore, don't know what the f*ck they're doing.
