Melissa McCarthy joins This is Forty
The film stars Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann, both reprising their roles as the middle-aged married couple Pete and Debbie from Judd Apatow's 2007 hit comedy Knocked Up. Also in the cast are Megan Fox and Albert Brooks.
Ryan Lee will play the son of Melissa McCarthy's character, who attends the same school as Pete and Debbie's kids. No other plot details have been released at this time.
This Is 40 comes to theaters December 21st, 2012 and stars Megan Fox, Jason Segel, Leslie Mann, Paul Rudd, Melissa McCarthy, Chris O'Dowd, Albert Brooks, John Lithgow. The film is directed by Judd Apatow.

I hope this works out. I love those characters but have serious doubts that they can carry a movie entirley on their own. However, if Apatow can keep the runtime reasonable i think it should be just fone.
