Melissa George is finishing negotiations to star in the chilling supernatural thriller Triangle. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Christopher Smith has recently signed up to direct the picture, which will be produced by Jason Newmark and Chris Brown.

Triangle centers on a group of passengers on a yachting trip in the Atlantic Ocean who, when struck by mysterious weather conditions, jump to another ship only to experience greater havoc on the open seas. George will portray a mentally disturbed woman who relives the horrible experience through each one of her three very different personalities.

Triangle is scheduled to start shooting in April on location in Australia.

Triangle was released in 2009 and stars Melissa George, Joshua McIvor, Jack Taylor, Michael Dorman, Henry Nixon, Rachael Carpani, Emma Lung, Liam Hemsworth. The film is directed by Christopher Smith.
