In a story from The Hollywood Reporter, Mehcad Brooks (True Blood) is coming aboard ABC's legal drama The Deep End as a regular.

Set at a prestigious L.A. law firm, Brooks will play the character of Malcolm Bennet. He is an associate at the law firm.

Due to this casting, there are questions about whether or not his True Blood character, Benedict "Eggs" Talley, will remain on the show.
