Megan Fox not returning for Transformers 3
The site is reporting that Paramount decided not to pick up the option on the actress, news that was confirmed by Variety, but Deadline reports that the decision was ultimately up to director Michael Bay. It was said that Bay is finishing up work on the script with writer Ehren Kruger and they are, "giving Shia a new love interest makes more sense for the story," according to one of the site's sources.
While there has been friction in the past between Fox and Bay, including an interview where Fox compared Bay to Hitler, the Variety story indicates the decision was unrelated to those remarks.
We'll be sure to keep you posted with any and all news regarding Transformers 3 as soon as we have more information.
Transformers: Dark of the Moon was released June 29th, 2011 and stars Shia LaBeouf, Rosie Huntington-Whiteley, Julie White, Kevin Dunn, Josh Duhamel, Tyrese Gibson, Alan Tudyk, John Malkovich. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

Shes not perfect for the part, and its mainly because of her mouth, she hates thats she famous, has a bad attitude, compared the director who found and started her career to Hitler, you're like the rest of Hollywood only seeing the sex appeal, she can't hold a movie by herself (main star), she can't act, and it terrible at it, but I do agree with you directors shouldn't replace a characters actor mid franchise, but on the same note I don't like Micheal Bay, all his remakes are bad, and he said she was to skinny, pale, and look to unhealthy for the role, he might kill her off in the next one, and if we are going on looks Gemma Arterton look a lot better,, and may be a good actress Megan Fox only looks good in some pictures, like this one there using, she a camillian, every pic of I see she looks different (haven't seen any Megan Fox, Transformers, movies nor Prince of Persia)

I think they would have to kill mckayla off or something. Sure her and sam could break up but how does she just disappear when the disepticons are gonna want to kill her as well as sam. if they had her in the movie for like 30 minutes had her get murdered that could actully be some emotional drama sam has to deal with in the movie.

Megan wasn't the worst aspect of the TF movies, but it's no big loss either. She was meant to be eye candy, and that's what she was. I liked her in the first movie better than the second...but whatever. Just cast someone hot who's maybe a better actress than Megan.

No Twins and no Megan Fox? Sounds like Bay's actually taking this one serious for a change. It also goes along with Shia's promise for a better film than "Fallen." I'm not going to miss her in the least. Her story with LaBeouf, to me anyway, was forced and not really all that necessary.

If its for the story then Im all for it. Story is what makes a movie, even though, I love Michael Bay's action packed movies with minimal to little story. I know Im a sucker for Bay movies. They are fun to watch. Thats just my two cents. I loved "The Rock".

I am all about film as an art. Bay is about entertainment, nothing more and he doesn't pretend that he is making a masterpiece in film. Why do people keep on saying the same crap over and over again? Yes we get it, he makes shallow movies that entertain, so get over it and shut up.

replacement or not, i still get the funny feeling bay will still have a weak storied movie with his signature butt load of explosions, and without writers kurtzman and orci, just leaving the script up to ehran kruger will leave a bad taste like part 2 did
i say keep it simple and a well balanced storyline like the first movie, that is why it was such a good movie and made it the perfect transformers movie

I agree @SmallvilleFan, she is actaully well spoken in all her interviews. You should check out some on youtube, especially the one where she speaks about Jennifer's Body and her relationship to Bay. It is interesting to see her holding her ground with smart answers that completely help the intereviewer continue to ask questions.
