Megan Fox is Carrie?
Today, it has been revealed that Megan Fox, despite being one of the most attractive women on the planet and twenty-five years old, is actively pursuing the lead character of Carrie, a homely picked-upon high school outcast. Casting that will surely have Stephen King rolling over in his customized, California King-sized casket that he uses as a bed. The actress doesn't think that her looks or age will stand in the way of her landing the role.
Here is what an insider close to the actress had to say:
"Megan is a huge fan of the original and would love the chance to play the lead. She's 25 now but she's sure she could still do justice to teenage Carrie. She's told her people to make it happen."
The same source goes onto claim that Megan Fox is seeking the lead in Carrie to distance herself from her Transformers persona. That is why she has been adamant about turning down the role of Wonder Woman in a theatrical version of the DC Comics character.
It is believed that if Megan Fox does not secure the role of Carrie, she will take a break from Hollywood for a starring role on Broadway.
Carrie comes to theaters October 18th, 2013 and stars Chloe Moretz, Julianne Moore, Judy Greer, Gabriella Wilde, Michelle Nolden, Portia Doubleday, Alex Russell, Samantha Weinstein. The film is directed by Kimberly Peirce.
Carrie was released November 3rd, 1976 and stars Sissy Spacek, Piper Laurie, Amy Irving, William Katt, Betty Buckley, Nancy Allen, John Travolta, P.J. Soles. The film is directed by Brian De Palma.

Megan Foxx to me will make a better dark burnette version of Christine Hargenson as Describe in the stephan king novel no dought about. Carrie tho not so sure, Lindsay Lohan yea maybe for carrie but really if they remake carrie again it needs to be exact stright to the point as in the book this time carrie needs to be fat with pimples and stuff, her prom dress is actually red and she dies in Sue Snells arms and she destroy the WHOLE TOWN! not half of it like in the 2002 remake the whole town this time carrie needs to have planes and rockets come down to the ground while walking home destroying everyrthing and also this time if they remake it carrie needs to run out of the prom after the pig's blood is thorwn on her lol I think another remake could work tho some people say they should have a sqeal to the 2002 remake of carrie because carrie moves to Flordia and starts a new life they should have the plot setting 10 years later since they were suppose to do a carrie tv serries but failed.

@bawnian-dexeus well Meg Fox and Beyce Dallas howard are only 5 years apart in years...both too old to play highschoolers. But hell its no unusual for 25-30 to play high schoolers, with the right makeup and angles it could work. I mean wasnt there a 30 year old woman who played a highschooler in the original 90210....dont ask how i remeber that.
Anyway, your probably right. But damn she would be perfect.

I was talking to a TV actor the other day, not a famous one and she was telling me that she preferred theater over TV and film. With both they have to memorize the lines for three hours or more, sit, eat lunch then act for 30 minutes or more.
With plays, it's one continuous.
I think Megan Fox should consider theater for four to five years. Plenty of actors have done theater, I have built sets but not acted in one yet. Though I have been thinking of it lately.
Fox needs to experience that aspect of the Industry. If not then she better start thinking Pornography.

Wait! she has already tried horror and it failed miserably. She needs an agent who can guide her in her already shambled career. She starred in the bomb that is Jonah Hex, she headlined in the bomb that is Jennifer's Body. Unless she can costar in a good movie soon she will have no choice but to go act in a play or two (probably off broadway)

As much as i want this to b R RATED meaning. show u sum boobies, sex or sum kinda nudity. (which by the way.. megan is against this idea). it aint gonna happen because A she wont show crap even if she gets the role, & B.. the stupid director will make it pg13 just to cramp teens to the movies. Not trying to b a perv here..,but I cant help but to want a really good R rated horror film, Prom night was good but failed in many key areas, along with stepfather too! & nightmare on elm street. Hell even jen's body failed, All these new horror remakes that r being made, r updated (which is a good thying) but they all end up trimed down to pg13. reminds me of wrestling, lol and jut watch fright night will fail too if they dont get it right.

Don't remake Carrie!!! The only reason the original is so great is because of its treacherously slow pacing. That will never happen with today's audiences. It will be a weird MTV-franticly-shot movie. Gah!
As for Miss Fox, her looks are much too loud and bold to fit the timidity and paleness of the role.

This is a new century, not every single girl that is hot has it easy, as they become victims of bullying just like anyone else. Also if they were shy due to that they wouldn't be trying to show there selves off in front of everyone else, I'm not sure how Megan could due in this, but she could be better and taken out of her conference zone in a lead role.
