Mickey Rourke is getting some help from a newly-cast angel for his new film. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Megan Fox has signed on to start alongside Mickey Rourke for Passion Plays.

Mitch Glazer is writing and directing the film which revolves around Rourke, a downtrodden trumpet player who finds redemption after he tries to save Fox's character from a gangster in 1950s Los Angeles. Fox is described as a beauty with actual wings who works at a carnival.

Glazer, who has written such films as The Recruit and Scrooged, will be making his directorial debut on the film. No production schedule was given for the film.
