Meet the Fockers take the weekend with $44.7 million
Arriving at No. 2 was 20th Century Fox's Fat Albert, with a two-day estimated total of $12.7 million. Paramount Pictures' Lemony Snicket's A Series of Unfortunate Events dropped to No. 3 with about $12.5 million, bringing its cume to about $59.3 million. Miramax Films' The Aviator was No. 4 with about $9.4 million, bringing its cume to $10.8 million after opening last weekend in limited release. At No. 5 was Warner Bros. Pictures' Ocean's Twelve with about $8.6 million, bringing its cume to $86.9 million.
