Max von Sydow, Noemie Lenoir and Hiroyuki Sanada have signed on to star in Rush Hour 3 for New Line Cinema.

The third installment of the Jackie Chan and Chris Tucker action flick, written by Jeff Nathanson, has Brett Ratner returning as director; he'll also produce. The two leads will battle a wing of a Chinese organized crime family, Variety reports. In a rare appearance in a comedy, von Sydow will portray the head of the World Criminal Court, while French actress Lenoir will be the love interest for Tucker's character.

Shooting for Rush Hour 3 just started in Paris; an August 10th release has been scheduled.

Rush Hour 3 was released August 10th, 2007 and stars Chris Tucker, Jackie Chan, Max von Sydow, Hiroyuki Sanada, Yvan Attal, Youki Kudoh, Noémie Lenoir, Jingchu Zhang. The film is directed by Brett Ratner.
