Michael J. Bassett is an interesting director! I did like his last film "Deathwatch"!
Robert E. Howard also wrote "Conan the Barbarian" & "Conan the Destroyer" & "Red Sonja"!

I like Robert E. Howard, he wrote a ton of stuff, all very cool. Though I never did like Kull. This movie should be pretty cool, unless it gets all campy and kiddy.

So....they already goth this neat poster out BUT haven't shot anything yet?? .....Anyway, Robert E. Howard wrote pretty good stuff (if you're into this particular genre) so this should be a nice movie...I like the cast too.

I liked those books they rock, so does the artwork for the novels. But 'Solomon Kane' was first it came out in the early 30's and was very crazy, if you like Elric you dig on Solomon Kane, he is kind of like an old school constantine but way better.

Sounds like 'Elric of Melnibone' a Michael Moorc*ck novel of 'The eternal champion' series.

    Good cast though.
