Max Payne to Air on FX

According to Variety, 20th Century Fox's Max Payne will be airing on the FX Networks when it goes into syndication.

In addition to this title, the network also bought The X-Files: I Want to Believe and The Rocker.

While FX wouldn't go into specifics, "sources said all three titles carry four-year license terms, starting in late 2010-early 2011, with the potential for distributor Twentieth TV to carve out broadcast network windows on each. FX is estimated to have paid a total of about $8 million for the three titles, based on the standard 10%-12% of domestic boxoffice."

Max Payne "opened with $17.6 million this past weekend and has upped its domestic boxoffice take to $21.1 million through Wednesday. It's projected to earn a total of $50 million-$60 million domestically."

Max Payne was released October 17th, 2008 and stars Mark Wahlberg, Mila Kunis, Beau Bridges, Ludacris, Chris O'Donnell, Donal Logue, Amaury Nolasco, Kate Burton. The film is directed by John Moore.
