Matthew Lillard has joined Lighthouse Entertainment's teen comedy Endless Bummer. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Khan Chittenden, Andy Fischer-Price, Colton James, Joan Jett, Jane Leeves, Ray Santiago, Allison Scagliotti and Caitlin Wachs have also joined the surf themed project.

The Sam Pillsbury-directed script revolves around the theft of a surfboard from Ventura Beach in 1984. The surfboard's owner and his group of teen friends set out on a quest to retrieve the stolen board, which leads them into the San Fernando Valley. Will they make it home with the board in tact? I guess we'll have to wait until next summer to find out.

Lillard plays a surf shop owner who helps the kids track down their board. The film beings shooting August 13th in and around Ventura Beach, California.

Endless Bummer was released March 20th, 2009 and stars Khan Chittenden, Colton James, Ray Santiago, Allison Scagliotti, Jane Leeves, Caitlin Wachs, Bobby Alt, Adam Alt. The film is directed by Sam Pillsbury.
