Miranda Bailey and Matt Leutwyler are producing a new indie feature starring Mathew Broderick and Sanaa Lathan. Variety says Josh Goldin will be directing the project from his own screenplay.

The story follows a down-and-out divorcee whose life takes an upswing when he falls in love at first sight with his roommate's Senegalese sister.

Shooting starts October 19th in Shreveport, Louisiana.
