It seems that A Good Day to Die Hard will feature a McClane family reunion of sorts. Background actor Ted Cross revealed that Mary Elizabeth Winstead will be returning in a cameo role as John McClane's daughter in A Good Day to Die Hard. Here's what the extra had to say on his blog.

"I got to work with Bruce Willis again, which is always nice. The best, though, was that I got to work with Mary Elizabeth Winstead, who plays Willis' daughter."

The actress originally appeared in Live Free or Die Hard as Lucy Gennero McClane. Jai Courtney is playing John McClane Jr. in this adventure set in Russia, where the estranged father and son team up. It isn't known how big Mary Elizabeth Winstead's role will be, although Ted Cross did mention the scene is towards the end of the movie

A Good Day to Die Hard was released February 14th, 2013 and stars Bruce Willis, Mary Elizabeth Winstead, Jai Courtney, Yuliya Snigir, Patrick Stewart, Megalyn Echikunwoke, Cole Hauser, Anne Vyalitsyna. The film is directed by John Moore.

Only a cameo? Well could have been worse, like ignoring the character's existence, or replacing her with another actress.

He's an extra. He didn't work with Bruce Willis. He didn't work with Mary Elizabeth Winstead. He stood behind them.

This needs to be a R rated fim, just so McClane can say Yipkee Kay Yay Motherf*cker without getting it bleeped out

I think it will be PG-13 again just because they want to get more people to see it. 1 and 3 was the best but 4 was not bad, Timothy Olyphant is a great actor and he savedthe movie imo

Whoever wrote the first three knew what to do. 4th had little or no humor which I found hard to swallow, this will have no humor and have little swear words.
Die Hard is about humor, action and swearing when it's needed. Plus it's a little gritty. R needs to come back to this franchise badly.
It's not die hard until Bruce utters the words for all to hear 'yippy Ky ya mother f*cker'

Hope it is R-rated also, The last movie lack something, It was ok but i felt like it was not worthy of a die hard blockbuster type movie,

Meh! Hope its R-rated and not as bland as the last also it feels odd as the last 5 years Willis has only played Cain over and over again with variations! So this is a meh meh meh to me!
