Marvel's The Avengers Thor Opera Deleted Scene Concept Art

Marvel's The Avengers is proving to be the phenomenon of the summer, reaching over $1 billion in ticket sales after only 19 days on screen. In the midst of all the excitement, Marvel President Kevin Feige has revealed that two unnamed Marvel films are on the verge of being announced for production in the very near future. Of course, he didn't give any hints about which two superhero franchises these could be.

"In a week and a half we start filming Iron Man 3...By the end of the summer we'll be working on the next Thor film, early next year the next Captain America film. Those are the three that we've announced so far, but we've got two beyond that we haven't announced yet that we're working on."

Speculation is already running rampant about which two films he is referring two. Ant-Man is unlikely, as director Edgar Wright already has his 2013-2014 slate full with The World's End and The Night Stalker. So that leaves the films we already known to be in the pipeline, which include Black Panther, Doctor Strange, The Guardians of the Galaxy, and possibly Iron Fist. Though, both upcoming titles may also be movies we've not yet heard batted about.

What do you hope the next two as-yet-unnamed Marvel superhero films will be? We're betting on a third stand-alone Hulk reboot ourselves.

In other Marvel's The Avengers news, two different concept art galleries have been unveiled to the public, one of which includes artwork from a deleted scene depicting an Operatic rendition of Thor. Check it out, along with other works from artist Steve Jung, followed by artwork from Nathan Schroeder.

alan, what u failed to realize is that wolverine 2 and x-men first class 2 arent part of the marvel universe, e.g. their characters owned by another company. I think sony. Marverl however arent gonna make a hulk reboot due to the fact that the last two failed and hulk is only good when hes complimented and contrasted by other superheroes like in the avengers, as such likely it was never meant to be the next film...... and anyway future marvel films we may see could also be daredevil and blade as they returning to marvel by the end of this year(film rights) .and as for hawkeye and nick fury movie... tbh no one is really interested in that... when their are sueprheroe movies to make... and the amount of superheroes are endless... e.g. luke cage, runaways ,daredevil so if anything nick fury might be a third film in a random year... e.g. the least important

Ant-Man and the Hulk reboot were supposed to be the next untitled marvel films coming out. So far this is whats coming out in order: Iron Man 3, Wolverine 2, X-Men First Class 2, Thor 2, Captain America 2, Hulk reboot, and The Avengers 2.

@vampire2000 It's not stupid. I wanna see stuff that takes place after the events from The Avengers, not before.

@vampire2000 Depends on who'd be behind the project. And if I wanted to see all that I would have rather it happened before Avengers. I wanna see stuff move forward and not back into the past.

@corey Are you serious? No interest in the SHIELD movie? The beginnings of the organization? How Nick Fury came to be Nick Fury? How Hawkeye was found, how he saved Black Widow and she became an assassin? You're insane, man. That movie'll be a beast.

@ejk1 Very good point. What about that SHIELD movie? I have no interest in a SHIELD-only movie, but it could happen.

Another DD would be sweet, though.

@corey As much as I'd love it to be DD or FF, I don't think Fiege can announce those films because the rights to those characters belong to other studios. I'm not exactly sure how that works. As for what those two films are, I'd like to see a Guardians of the Galaxy film as a tie-in to The Avengers 2. This way we can get an idea of what Thanos is doing, even if he is barely seen in the film.

I seriously doubt the next movie for Hulk will be a reboot. Just something that follows The Avengers most likely. Anyhow, for superhero movies, I'd LOVE to see a Spider-Woman movie or a Doctor Strange movie, definitely.
