It happens only in the movies. They make those things look real and cool on screen in the movie. In person or in other words for real, they probably don't look real but maybe somewhat cool.

Yes, that helmet you've just mentioned of from Captain America The First Avenger.

And is it me or does Caps costume, the upper portion on his chest, how it looks like the material goes from one side, over to his other shoulder, is kind of reminiscent of Buckys old costume in the comics, how his shirt went over the other side and buttoned?

I think it'll do do fine in the theaters. People are just worried about it, because of almost all the marvel characters being in this movie.

Cap looks way better without the new cowl for his new costume, i dont see why they couldnt just let him keep the helmet he had in TFA, it still wouldve matched well with the new suit

@themoviefanatic...thats gonna look great if they do that...though i know people are worried wether this film is gonna succeed or fail, but its gonna feel so surreal sitting in the theater watching it :D

There probably will be a CGI Hulk standing behind them in that part of the movie, when the Avengers is finished being filmed and edited.

Two of the worst movies of 2011 fight against each other. I couldn't be more disappointed and bored It really says something when the director of the first Thor refused to direct the sequel.

Bad ass. I'm proud of myself for not having broken down to read they full spoiler plot synopsis. I really want to enjoy this movie as it is. Same with The Dark Knight Rises. These are definitely my top two most anticipated summer films, though The Hobbit is probably my most anticipated overall for this year.

I think this shot would be made even more awesome if a CGI Hulk is standing behind them with his back turned, so it looks like they are back to back, preparing for whats about to attack them :]

I agree on the outfits part. All of these super heros live or have their own world(s) in diff time zones, meaning, some live in the past while others are today's or in the future time. There4, I dont know how they can all fit into 1 world. and yea, the older hero isnt gonna have top of the line guns and stuff like sumbody in tomorrow's world. If you think about it, that sounds kinda stupid and unrealistic. on the other hand this is just a movie, kick back and enjoy desperate the setbacks!

@comicbookfan I've noticed that, I assume it has something to do with the fact that there's already a film with called "The Avengers"

It never makes sense to me that those characters would wear colorful superhero costumes despite the world in these films being pretty realistic overall. I can't believe all those heroes have a legitimate reason for it. Iron Man definitely makes sense, but the rest...

@moviemaniac66 Well, would love it if lighting traveled his body while striking his enemies. Like in the cartoon

@bawnian-dexeus - Well it would be pretty cool if they changed it up a bit but I don't have a problem with the one that they used in his first film.
