The film follows the Super Hero team up of a lifetime, featuring iconic Marvel Super Heroes Iron Man, The Incredible Hulk, Thor, Captain America, Hawkeye and Black Widow. When an unexpected enemy emerges that threatens global safety and security, Nick Fury, Director of the international peacekeeping agency known as S.H.I.E.L.D., finds himself in need of a team to pull the world back from the brink of disaster. Spanning the globe, a daring recruitment effort begins.
The story is based on the ever-popular Marvel comic book series The Avengers, first published in 1963.
Marvel's The Avengers was released May 4th, 2012 and stars Robert Downey Jr., Chris Evans, Mark Ruffalo, Chris Hemsworth, Scarlett Johansson, Jeremy Renner, Tom Hiddleston, Clark Gregg. The film is directed by Joss Whedon.

@corey Good point. But, i just find it to be strange how they think that we wont know who will be starring in the Avengers, if they have their helmets on in the movie in several scenes in the Avengers movie. It's not like their helmets will be covering all parts of their faces, except for Iron Man.

@themoviefanatic I'm sure we'll see them in the helmets a really good amount in the movie, man. Just because they aren't wearing them here in the poster doesn't mean they won't wear them in the movie. MCU just wants us to know what stars are in the movie to appeal to audiences. It's a big cast and they want to show that cast off, I suppose.

@corey I see what your saying and i don't disagree with you on that, but their helmets are still part of their Avengers outfits. So, i think they should have them on in the posters and banners of the Avengers movie and in the movie as well. It is okay though, if they don't have them on in some parts of the movie, because they likely would not be wearing them in all of the time in the Avengers movie.

@RogueVadr6 Yeah I agree. It does seem like it should be called Iron Man 3.
I mean he seems to be at the fore front of all the marketing. It also feels like Hawkeye gets more attention than Cap. I mean what happen to them being The Big 3, its more like its Iron Man and the other 2 guys. Ok maybe Thor gets some of the marketing but Cap almost seems like a supporting cast member. The only person getting less publicity than Cap, who is suppose to be the leader at some point, is Maria Hill. I mean even Joss Whedon was seen in pictures with the his shield.

This is one of those times, where as a fun I have to just swallow my pride and keep my faith in that the movie is a way better product than their marketing for it.
Especially where they keep putting Tony at the forefront instead of cap. I know that Cap doesn't take the leader role until they realize that the dynamic works better when he's giving ideas but they could have one poster that reflects the respect cap deserves. Still knowing that I am going to respect that in order for the movie to sell in some part of the world they can't have cap be the focus and Tony is the most popular of them all so far.
