@bawnian-dexeus Why? I don't think there will be a barebones Blu-ray release of the Avengers, if that is why you hope it doesn't have any Special Features.

    And I hope it doesn't

@ghostman As long as the 2 Disc Blu-ray pack of the Avengers has all of the special features or bonus features that the 4 Disc Blu-ray pack will have in it, then i will be completely satisfied with that and will get the 2 Disc Blu-ray pack of the Avengers.

@themoviefanatic The blu-ray 3D release of Pirates 4 had an extra disc of bonus features that the 2-disc blu-ray/DVD combo pack did not have. Luckily i bought the 3D blu-ray.

@ghostman Yeah, you're right. At least it wont be like what happened with Pirates 4's Blu-ray releases, where the 2 Disc Blu-ray pack of that movie basically had nothing in it, and the 5 Disc Blu-ray pack of it had most of what was in 15 Disc Blu-ray pack but not all of it.

@themoviefanatic No. If it did, they would have listed it on here.

@ghostman Oh okay, I know what you mean. But, you don't think the regular Blu-ray in the 4 Disc Blu-ray pack will have more Special Features in it than what the regular Blu-ray in the 2 Disc Blu-ray pack will have in it ?

@themoviefanatic Jesus Sean, for the last time: Disc 1- regular DVD version of the film, Disc 2- regular blu-ray disc of the film WITH bonus features, Disc 3- Blu-ray 3D disc, and Disc 4- Digital Copy disc. What don't you understand that their will be no "exclusive" features on the 4-disc set.

@ghostman Yes, but i think the 4 Disc pack will have a Bonus Blu-ray Disc with more special features than what the 2 Disc Blu-ray pack will have in it.

@themoviefanatic That's what I've been telling you Sean, the bonus features are on the regular blu-ray disc like @bawnian-dexeus said.

@ghostman I am talking about the Bonus Disc that will be in the 4 Disc Blu-ray pack, that would have also been included in the 2 Disc Blu-ray pack if the 3D Blu-ray format didn't exist.

@themoviefanatic Sean, The bonus features are on the blu-ray. what bonus disc are you talking about?

    1 year agoby @ghostmanFlag

  22. Sean

@ghostman Well the reason i had said that before, is because of the fact that The Avengers movie is a Marvel movie and also a Disney movie now, rather than a Paramount movie and because of the fact that Disney has stopped including the bonus disc of their movies on Blu-ray in the regular 2 Disc Blu-ray packs and only includes them in the 3D Blu-ray packs which really sucks.

the dvd cover look way better since it has all of the characters on it thats the main point to have all the characters that are in the movie as the cover for the dvd

It's being called "Marvel's The Avengers" that is why the word Marvel is up there in Avengers font and the Marvel Studios logo is at the bottom. And to explain the DVD banner, that's how Disney does it. Look at this cover from Toy Story, it states "DVD edition" at the top:

    http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/51NpxQ0ma8L.jpg

Also notice how that image of the Hulk has never been used or seen before, proves even more that this is legit. If these turn out to be "fan-made" then these covers are the best photoshopped DVD/blu-ray covers i've ever seen, and I've seen actual fan-made cover art they are hideous, here's an example:

@bane5000 Wait, didn't Disney pay Paramount to take care of that?

    1 year agoby @bawnian-dexeusFlag

  27. SpaceCowboy

@ghostman Okay, but you still never explained to me why "Marvel" it on each cover twice. Or why "DVD" has its own division above the DVD cover. Or why half the extras are ambigous and don't fit the scale of the movie. The Avengers should be a two Blu-ray disc set.

@bane5000 The only good ones were the poster they use as the box art on the Blu-Ray Combo Pack, the large promo art banner, and the IMAX poster. All the others, sucked.
