@rudy The retail price for movies on Blu-ray is about $30 dollars, or maybe more depending on the store you buy it at i think.

@themoviefanatic But most of the blurays I have in my wishlist are 10-20 on average, $35 dollars is way too much. I'll just wait till it's at about $15.

@narrator Yeah, that bothered me aswell. Sure, Mark Ruffalo was a great Bruce Banner, but so was Edward Norton (and I thought his look was a slightly better fit for the character), and I hate that they keep ignoring that movie and Edward Nortons performance and instead try to talk about it as little as possible, as if they are somehow ashamed of the work that had been put in The Incredible Hulk (it is actually my favorite of the movies that leads up to Avengers).

  5. the Narrator

Anyone else notice that Edward Norton wasn't seen at all in the cinematic Universe video, but Fiege was during the Incredible Hulk section. Sure, let the ass-hat who doesn't know diddly squat about the characters he's been supervising and producing and caused he loss of Norton speak up on the film.

@skywise Yes, i couldn't agree with you more. A 3 hour Avengers movie is something i would love to see as well. Also, if you add in the 30 Minutes of Deleted scenes in to the movie, that the Avengers Blu-ray will have in it, the Avengers movie would be 2 hours and 53 minutes long.

@bawnian-dexeus the opening scenes in Raiders though kind of freaked me out as a kid. I think it was those weird rotting bodies coming out of the walls!

@skywise Yeah. I was surprised too when I saw him in that movie. They all start somewhere. Like Alfred Molina as the victim from Indiana Jones

@bawnian-dexeus Fury is white in the normal Marvel timeline. Its the ultimates version that we see on screen. The neat thing about the movies is that they sort of mix and match the best bits from all the history of Marvel

@bawnian-dexeus@dan1 I know this probably wont happen and if it does it wont be anytime soon but my dream X Men film would be helmed by Wheddon. He often said that he hung his hat with the brooding quality of X Men and at first didnt think Avengers was right for him. thank god he changed his mind but an x men movie by Wheddon???

  26. Bawnian©-Dexeus

@skywise@dan1 Only saw the motion comic. Never made sense to me. Least they showed Fury while he was still white. Starting to miss that version

@dan1 You know i have a bias toward X Men but a lot of writers forget what makes them so great.Wheddon embraced those things and made them his own. I love when the X Men are on some far planet or in deep action but the best bits for me are the more quiet ones. The personal stuff and Wheddon nailed that aspect.

@bawnian-dexeus agreed. Even the best of the best have a flop or 2 under their belt. It is common and in movies there is so much more than just the director so the blame can be placed across a large group of people. I love Spielberg but some of his movies are just...not what they could have been and i think a lot of that comes from the script and producers.

I am excited for Wheddon because he is in the major leagues now and we will definatly being seeing more movies from him. I just hope he doesnt give up on his career as a comic writer.
