@themoviefanatic Yes, but i just said TDK because that's what I call the trilogy! haha or TDK series.. Sorry for not clarifying that better

Sean
@mcleve02 You mean for the Dark Knight Rises?

THE JOKER
@themoviefanatic I'm sure I will end up with both for TDK pack

@SpaceCowboy I think that the Avengers Blu-ray target exclusive Blu-ray pack will have 90 minutes of exclusive footage and i think that about 30 minutes of it will be Deleted scenes and Extended scenes.

@SpaceCowboy Yes, i remember you said earlier that you're adding the Target exclusive to your wish list. Any chance i get, when ever a movie is coming out on Blu-ray, and a store has a good exlusive for it on Blu-ray, then i usually get it from the store with with the best exclusive for it.

@themoviefanatic Haha, I'm also a sucker for exclusives.

@mcleve02 If Target or someother store releases a Blu-ray Exclusive pack for The Dark Knight Rises, like the one Target is releasing for The Avengers, then i will probably be getting that one.

THE JOKER
@themoviefanatic Yeah, but I will probably geek out and get both... when it comes to Batman, I make unwise financial decisions! haha

@mcleve02 What ever Blu-ray pack that comes out for The Dark Knight Rises, i would think will come out maybe like in December or so. I would think that what ever Blu-ray pack for The Dark Knight Rises will be, will be just as cool as the exclusive from target Blu-ray pack for the Avengers. Maybe Target will have its own exclusive for The Dark Knight Rises, like they will have for The Avengers ?

@themoviefanatic Well now I am as well! I'm curious to see what blueray pack comes out for The Dark Knight series!

@mcleve02 Yeah, once i found out about the Target exclusive that has 30 minutes of Deleted scenes and much more included with it, i had known right away that, that was the Blu-ray pack store exclusive that i will be buying.

@SpaceCowboy Yes, i am looking forward to buy it in 2 months finally.

@SpaceCowboy Yeah, well I wish I could say the comic had no inspiration... but I geeked out and got it... If saw my batman collection of films, comic books and collectibles you would probably cream... and then slap me for clearly spending too much money!! haha

@mcleve02 Haha, okay. I'm guilty with Batman as well. Although, I didn't upgrade from my Begins DVD to Blu-ray for a comic. I did it for the 6-minute TDK Prologue :P ... and when The Dark Knight came out I bought it on DVD and Blu-ray because of the different formats they were presented in.

@themoviefanatic I may just grab that pack instead! @SpaceCowboy and I try to be smarter for this... Batman is what turns my brain off, although Batman Begins special blueray did come with a comic book!

@themoviefanatic Sweet! I looked it up after I read your comment and it's gunna be packed full of discs, man. Actually has a somewhat decent cover, too.

@SpaceCowboy Yeah, it's going to be a pretty awesome Blu-ray pack for The Avengers. It will have 30 minutes of Deleted scenes from The Avengers movie.

@mcleve02 Haha, true true. Can't say I haven't double dipped myself. I just try to stay on the lookout for potential bad investments.

I'm just going to get the Target exclusive Blu-ray pack of the Avengers. I already have all the other Marvel movies on Blu-ray, so there would be no point in me buying that, all the Marvel movies again in a big pack like that.

pass. i agree with @SpaceCowboy. never been a big fan of these sets for the reasons he mentioned. not to mention the fact that those collector cases suck when it comes to putting movies on a movie shelf. i don't want a bulky briefcase taking up space on my shelf. 10 seasons of Friends has a bulky box. as does the Toy Story "toybox" collector case. neither fit with my movies. rather have those collector sleeves in a standard collector sleeve ala Star Wars or Harry Potter style. regular box for slip sleeve movies that fit on an average movie shelf. not saying marvel shouldn't sell this or do promo kits like this b/c they are sweet. but give us a cheaper, more conventional option too.

THE JOKER
@SpaceCowboy haha well we both know the huge nerds out there will buy this one on top of the new one that will come out down the road... I have fallen victim to that scenario with all my Batman things!

I've always resented sets like these that simplify the stand-alone releases, packaging films in cardboard sleeves inside of a prop, throwing in fragile replicas that we'll only glance at once, and on top of all that there's a bonus disc including exclusively to the set that has 'never before seen' interviews and other videos that can't be purchased or seen any other way. That's have the reason I buy Blu-rays; for the bonus content. If I only wanted to watch the movies then I'd probably have a Netflix account and a much smaller collection than I have now. I'm going to pass on this bundle and look out for another MARVEL collection to come around down the road (which there will in fact be) that has even more 'goodies' while still having less.

@mcleve02 That's the bit I'm still confused on; does that actually come with all this? Can you really remove it from the case? Or would it just be something permanently attached that glows?
