Runaways gets Drew Pearce to adapt
Pearce will co-write Runaways with Vaughan.
Runaways follows a group of teenagers who find that some family secrets are bigger than others when they discover their parents are actually super-villains. Running away from their homes, the teens band together and begin a journey of discovery, both of their parents' origins and of their own inherited powers, while trying to make up for the evil done by their folks.
Runaways is in development . The film is directed by Peter Sollett.

Just like all the other films in this genre, if done well and has a solid cast, it could very well be a good movie. If not, it may not be all that. I'm interested though!

I think all of u are forgetting, and Movieweb hasnt included it, but this will be one of the first Disney owned marvel films. Have fun w/ that. Expect one liners and soft violence to ruin ure movie-going experience.
