2006 is the first year that Marvel Studios held a panel at Comic-Con, teasing Marvel Phase One movies Iron Man and The Incredible Hulk two years before their release. The studio will release the highly-anticipated Marvel Phase Two finale The Avengers: Age of Ultron and the first Marvel Phase 3 movie Ant-Man in 2015.
The producer also spoke about branching out further than the franchises laid out in Marvel Phase One.
With Ant-Man laying the ground work for Phase Three, Marvel announced three untitled movies that will be released in 2016 and 2017 that will round out Phase Three, and will likely conclude with The Avengers 3.
Movies such as Doctor Strange and Black Panther are currently in development and may fill two of those three unspecified release dates.
