Feige directly addressed rumors that it might be the final film for the friendly neighborhood web-slinger.
"There will be many more Spider-Man films to come," he promised. "We already have stacks of ideas for the next one because of the wealth of stories in the comics. We could be making Spider-Man movies for the next 20 years, based on the 50 years of Spider-Man history we have."
That doesn't necessarily guarantee, however, that Tobey Maguire will continue as the man under the mask.
"When you're concentrating on one movie at a time, there's a beginning and a middle and an end to that process," Feige reasoned. "We've been topping each one as they go, [and if that happens again], that's the time for those discussions."
Spider-Man 3 was released May 4th, 2007 and stars Tobey Maguire, Kirsten Dunst, James Franco, Thomas Haden Church, Topher Grace, Bryce Dallas Howard, Rosemary Harris, J.K. Simmons. The film is directed by Sam Raimi.

YES!!! Hopefully this will be better the the disapointing Spider-Man 3. What I want to see is the series go back to normal. You know, One villain a movie, staring off with a character bond, having Peter be friends with his greatest foe. No overdosing "badies" or useless plots and charaters this time. Although, it would be interesting to see Carnage...........................
and Venom. Having them fuse together like they used to. Any one who's a die hard Spider-Man fan knows what I mean.

THE JOKER
They need to save the series desperately. Bring back Venom and let him get the chance to do what we wanted him to do in number 3. He was the number one villian everyone wanted to see in spider-man 3, but was only present in the last 10 minutes of the film. They need to save this series or just quit it all together
