Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant Clip Featuring S.H.I.E.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson

When the mighty Marvel epic Thor makes its way onto Blu-ray, Blu-ray 3D, and DVD this September 13th, it will come with two all-new short films focused on Clark Gregg's S.H.E.I.L.D. Agent Phil Coulson, as he bridges the storylines between Thor, Iron Man 2, and the The Incredible Hulk leading into the release of The Avengers. Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant and Marvel One-Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer... were produced exclusively for this upcoming Thor release, and you can watch a clip from Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant below.

Marvel One-Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer... picks up after Agent Coulson (Clark Gregg) leaves Tony Stark's (Robert Downey Jr.) lab in Malibu during 'Iron Man 2,' and occurs before he arrives solo at the crater site in 'Thor.' Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant takes place sometime after the plots of 'Iron Man 2,' 'Thor,' and 'The Incredible Hulk,' but before 'Marvel's The Avengers.'

Both Marvel One-Shot: The Consultant and Marvel One-Shot: A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to Thor's Hammer... will be available September 13, when the Thor Blu-ray and Thor DVD arrive in stores.

@bane5000 - Oh ok, and i like Michael Jai White but he is better suited for Black Panther then Blade to me. I think they should go with a younger Blade, so whoever plays him will not to compared to Wesley. Because when you think about Blade, you think about Snipes. To me that's why the Tv show didn't do so well, because Sticky Fingaz just didn't look like Blade to me. And Idris Elba is Heimdall, so he can't be Blade. He would have made a better Luke Cage or Black Panther then Blade to me. I think Derek Luke would have made a perfect Black Panther but he's in Captain America as Gabe Jones (palmface).

@Number1Wolverine...i heard around the " internet campfire " that thats what Marvel has planned for Blade and Punisher, to make short films to get them back into the public eye before making full length films for them...in my opinion, though they both have played comic book characters and one is already a MCU character, they should get either Idris Elba or Michael Jai White for Blade :]

@bane5000 - That sounds awesome, where did you hear about Blade & Punisher short films because that's news to me? And yea i wonder how Blade would work in the MU, but i'm more worried about Punisher since he hasn't had much success with movies.

@Number1Wolverine...thats pretty much the plan they have with these short films, i even heard they may be making short films of Blade and Punisher in the near future to re-introduce them as part of the MCU since they got the rights back for them, cant wait to see what Marvel Studios can do with them :]

Looks good, i'm liking this one -shot. Hopefully Marvel will start to do more with lesser known charaters who can get their chance at the big screen.

@cupid...i know right, like its hard to solve that mystery lol, so that will explain why Gen Ross will not be in The Avengers cuz Stark annoys him to the point he wants nothing to do with them probably

Well he did call the consultant because he does pay The General a visit at the end of the hulk.

Releasing the abomination? Interesting. This further explains why The Incredible Hulk is the last of the Marvel films before the Avengers.

The consultant is Tony Stark, remember at the end of IRON MAN 2 that what Nick Fury calls him when he is told he is not ready to join "Avenger Initiative", they are using Tony as an "consultant"
