Marty Mcfly's Nikes from Back to the Future Part II Becoming a Reality?

Frank Marshall and Nice Kicks are hinting at a release of Marty Mcfly's futurist "Nike Air Mags" from Back To The Future Part II. When NiceKicks posted their article, the film reference immediately sparked a online frenzy, with talks ranging from a 3D re-release of the trilogy to a remake of the first film.

Director Frank Marshall tweeted:

Frank Marshall's Nike Tweet
"Something big is coming soon, Can't say anything yet. No one should know too much about their own destiny."


Soon after Marshall followed up with another Tweet that read:

Frank Marshall's Nike Tweet #2
"Going to need a lot of hover boards..."

Back to the Future Part II was released November 22nd, 1989 and stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Lea Thompson, Thomas F. Wilson, Elisabeth Shue, James Tolkan, Jeffrey Weissman, Casey Siemaszko. The film is directed by Robert Zemeckis.

    @dan1 I would buy em too. I used to own that silly color changing hat he wore in the future. They used to sell it at universal studios for a rediculous ammount of money but damn i loved that hat. when i was a kid i wore it until the colors faded.

    The shoes were always "far out." One of those things kids sort of dream about.
