Martin Lawrence confirms Bad Boys 3 in the works
"It's real realistic," the comedian revealed to MTV News recently, addressing rumors that he'll re-team with Bay and the former Fresh Prince once again. "We've talked about 'Bad Boys 3.' "
"Any time you can get Big Willie to come out and talk about doing a third installment of a hot movie like 'Bad Boys,' you have to take notice," Lawrence explained. "I met with Michael Bay, and he said he's onboard too - so it's real."
"I got Big Willie to come down and see me about the movie. I felt special," Lawrence said of a visit Smith paid to his friend recently to talk about getting the band back together, adding that at this point, the green light is in the hands of the franchise producer. "We're just waiting on Jerry Bruckheimer to let us know when it's really real."

Peter Craig is putting together a script for Columbia.
Production most likely wouldn't start until next year as Michael Bay readying production for Transformers 3.
Bad Boys 3 comes to theaters in 2015 and stars Martin Lawrence, Will Smith. The film is directed by Michael Bay.

FINALLY i dont understand why they couldnt do this sooner bad boys 2 was not only a phenominal box office success but was also HUGE among the general public. everyone i ever met loved the movie and talked about. so the fact that they didnt RUSH to do a third one after the 2nd being so succesful is beyond me.

I can't watch the first anymore simply because of the whole mistaken identity thing that could've ended sooo much sooner. The second one I love. I quote it often, and will probably do something similar when my daughter goes on a date as what Mike and Marcus do. I'd love to see where the third one goes.

Bay's movies mentioned the most include: Armageddon, Pearl Harbor, Transformers
for some reason he's left out others such as the Island and Bad Boys and the Rock
can he still do any better outside of just producing horror flicks?

I don't know about pathetic. He sounds like Martin Lawrence to me... kinda pokin' fun at Will's rap side. I think some of you might be reading too much into it. As for the movie, hell yeah... didn't care for the last one as much as the first, but I liked it enough to go see a third.
