Justin Bieber and Mark Wahlberg team up for Paramount
"Yeah, well, we're putting it together. Yeah, we're doing it at Paramount. We pitched them the idea, and we talked to him about doing it and he loved the idea. He sent me a video of himself and yeah, I think he's really talented."
When asked if it would be a drama or comedy, Mark Wahlberg revealed it will center around mentoring in an inner-city environment.
"More of a drama. It's interesting, right? You want to know. They'll probably announce it. They may announce it fairly soon ... kind of like a reluctant mentor in an inner-city environment. You know, I don't want to say."
We reported last month that Justin Bieber is in talks to star in the comedy What Would Kenny Do? alongside Ashton Kutcher, although it isn't known if both actors have officially signed onto that project yet.

Second, no one is in denial that Fox is a bad actress, NO ONE. People criticize her all the time for her acting. And why would you bring Emma Stone into this, she's actually an above average actress with good looks. And yeah, ppl were "drool" for the cast of Sucker Punch, what's wrong with that? Leonardo DiCaprio - who has been nominated for (and also won) countless awards - on par with a fringed child with an ego the size of Texas? GTFO with that sh*t.
We all witnessed the atrocity that was Bieber's version of 'acting' in CSI. Leo could always deliver on screen - yes, his looks may have helped him get roles initially; but his undeniable ability is what has kept him relevant. Only a child would even compare the two. It is both insulting and incredibly stupid in equal measure.
The only person Bieber has any similarity to is that nobody Aaron Carter.

I know it is criticism but EVERYTIME something is mentioned on MovieWeb about Taylor Lautner or Justin Bieber the fanboys on here freak out and complain. Yet if something is mentioned about Megan Fox or Emma Stone all the fanboys are totally okay and drooling over the news and "cannot wait" for it to hit theaters. For example, when the cast list for "Sucker Punch" was released there was nothing but overjoyed guys who couldn't wait to see the girls in action. Nevermind none of them can even act and the movie was utter trash. So don't bust on Bieber being attached to a film with Mark Whalberg.

@moviemaniak1993 I hope you're joking. EVERYONE complained about Fox's acting but she her role in transformers didn't call for high caliber acting, she was eye candy. Those were her limits and she didn't go outside them. Bieber is also eye candy for 12 year old girls but ppl are shoving him down our throat like he's the next Beatles. Give me a break, the kid has looks and knows how to lip sync. Stay within your limits or be prepared to get criticized. That's exactly what this is, criticism

Exactly. Which is why the guys on here are hypocrites. Maybe I want to see Bieber. He's eye candy. Just as Fox is. No one complained when she was attached to the Transformers movies. And before you bash me, he's 17. Not a little boy. If he wants to act he's going to. And he will bring in huge numbers. As for not being a real artist, see his doc*mentary. I suppose you would also say Lady Gaga is not a real artist. Well they do not come more real than her. She writes, produces and choreographs her own songs. I won't defend Bieber in his writing of songs because personally I can't stand his songs, but I support him acting.

Actually I do not even own a Bieber CD but no one even gives him a chance. I mean if it were Megan Fox in this news story you guys would think it's the best thing since sliced bread. All I'm saying is people only thought DiCaprio was a teenage heart throb and look at him now.
