Mark Ruffalo's Sympathy for Delicious Coming Back Together

Just a month after losing his brother, Mark Ruffalo is getting back to work. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Mark Ruffalo is coming back to his project, Sympathy for Delicious, which will serve as his directorial debut.

Ruffalo's project, which was to star James Franco, was put on hold after Ruffalo's brother, Scott, died in December. Now Orlando Bloom is stepping in for Franco and Laura Linney has come on board as well.

The film, written by Christopher Thornton, centers on a Los Angeles DJ who becomes paralyzed and is struggling to survive on the streets when he turns to faith healing and somehow develops the ability to cure the ailing. He abandons his musical dreams to help others.

Production is set to begin next week in Los Angeles.

Sympathy for Delicious was released July 22nd, 2011 and stars Orlando Bloom, Mark Ruffalo, Juliette Lewis, Laura Linney, John Carroll Lynch, Noah Emmerich, James Karen, Diana Terranova. The film is directed by Mark Ruffalo.
