Mark Nippe to Direct Van Damme Vs. Seagal?

Moviehole is reporting that Spawn director Mark Nippe has signed on to direct the action comedy Van Damme vs. Seagal. Don't get your hopes up too high, though. It is highly doubtful that the two action icons will appear as themselves in the film.

The project is said to be a spoof that pits the two 90s era stars against each other. They live on opposing sides of Hollywood, set on despising one another. Their jealous rages reach an apex when the two must join forces to thwart a nuclear threat that may very well destroy the entire planet.

The film does not have a set start date at this time.

    The idea alone is hilarious. A movie about the two worst action "actors" and the director of one the worst comic book movies. Of course if those two are not actually in the film is gonna suck even more. This could be good for a laugh
