Mark Millar Talks Wanted 2 Without Angelina Jolie

MTV recently talked with Wanted 2 co-creator Mark Millar. Among the topics of discussion was how the story of the sequel would fair without Angelina Jolie's involvement.

"They killed off the most recognizable character, but I thought it was great to do that," Mark Millar stated. "It was so ballsy to kill off the one person you didn't expect to die."

Millar also discussed filling the void with another interesting character.

"What they're talking about is just moving on with the story and doing it properly," he offered. "Just bringing in another cool character as this world opens up with all the different fraternities out there all across the world. This could change at any moment, but the last I heard two weeks ago, was that was the plan moving forward."

It seems that the original Wanted differed quite drastically from Millar's source material. This is something that he is philosophical about.

"This was my dream job as a kid. So if they make movies of the stuff - brilliant. And if it's great movies, fantastic. I'm not precious about it. As long as the movie's good, that's my criteria."

Wanted 2 is in development and stars James McAvoy.

She's dead! Right? Direct to DVD. Done.

That was the dumbest movie ever!!! And Jolie looked like a freakin' skeleton. Damn, go eat a Whopper girl, and then strut around and jiggle. And lose the lame, clever sideways glances. It's old and overdone.

i did happen to wait until a month ago to finally see it, but i was pleasantly surprised.

Indeed. Because bringing her back would be a total stretch.

"We were going to bring her back as a hot zombie. You know, as the love interest, but rough hardcore zombie sex rated pretty low on the amongst viewers."

Natalie Portman would be a good choice, she did an impressive role on V for Vengeance.

I am glad. Bringing her back would be a bit weird. Bring in Maggie Q or something...

better yet bring in someone we WOULDN'T expect to be in the film; along the lines of... say... Natalie Portman? Slim her down, tone her up, and with her acting ability, I can see her kicking serious psycho ass.

they'll still make up some BS twin sister or some sh*t... if Angelina says she'll do/wants the movie, do you really think they won't find a way to get her into it?
